Changing the world starts with the self.

Far from being separate from science, mental and physical well-being are essential to effective communication, which in turn are essential to creating lasting solutions. Science may happen behind closed doors, but the application of that science to create a better world inherently involves public participation and input. Objectivity is key to doing good science; but we cannot continue to estrange ourselves from our communities if we hope to create change that is positive for people, planet, and prosperity.

My passions are all extensions of a singular desire: to leave the world a better, healthier place than I found it.
